In the recycling workshop, we had the opportunity to create art using reused materials. The main activity involved making pictures of trees from old fabrics and denim scraps, which allowed us to explore creativity with objects that would normally be discarded.
Each group brought their own vision, and while some paintings were more detailed, others presented a different concept, with more abstract approaches. One of the most special moments was when the teacher expressed her clear favourite: the Spanish group's painting. It was certainly a rather abstract painting, with a different concept, but with a unique personality.
Throughout the workshop, we also had the opportunity to see other works made from recycled materials, such as sculptures and decorative objects. These pieces inspired us and showed us the endless possibilities of creating sustainable art.
This workshop was very entertaining, we were able to show our creative side and learn new ways to recycle and it made us reflect on the importance of reusing materials to take care of the environment. It was a fun and educational experience that left us with valuable lessons.
